6月のエシカル活動のお知らせ

森林再構築・ご奉仕塗装・宮古島ビーチクリーンに参加します

一般社団法人日本エシカル塗装協会では、塗装を通じた環境負荷の低減だけでなく、海・森・地域・教育につながる活動を少しずつ広げています。

その一環として、6月は大きく3つの活動に参加・協力する予定です。

一つ目は、森林再構築プロジェクトとして行う植樹活動。二つ目は、地域や神社に貢献するご奉仕塗装。三つ目は、宮古島で行われるビーチクリーン活動です。

どれも、塗装業界だけで完結する活動ではありません。

森を育てること。地域を守ること。海をきれいにすること。そして、その活動を多くの人に知っていただくこと。

これらは、私たちが大切にしているエシカルな取り組みの一部です。

6月14日に森林再構築プロジェクトとしての植樹活動に参加しましょう！森づくりが海の再生に繋がることを学び、環境保護を実践する大切な機会をぜひお見逃しなく。

6月14日｜森林再構築プロジェクトとして植樹活動に参加します

6月14日には、第二のふるさと創生協会様が主催されるイベントに参加し、森林再構築プロジェクトの一環として、岩手県で行われる森づくり・植樹活動に参加してきます。

海の再生を考えるとき、海だけを見ていても十分ではありません。

森に降った雨は、土にしみ込み、地下水となり、川を通り、やがて海へ流れ込みます。

健全な森は、水の流れを整え、土砂の流出を抑え、川や海に届く水の質にも良い影響を与える可能性があります。

つまり、

森を育てること。川を守ること。海を再生すること。

これらは、別々の活動ではなく、つながっています。

今回の植樹活動は、そのつながりを現場で学び、実践する大切な機会だと考えています。

なお、こちらのイベントはすでに募集が締め切られているため、今回の新規参加募集は行っておりません。活動後には、現地での様子や学びを改めてご報告させていただきます。

6月29日｜宮古島にて、ご奉仕塗装を開催予定です

6月29日には、ご奉仕塗装の活動も予定しています。

ご奉仕塗装とは、塗装の技術や人の力を活かして、地域や社会に貢献する取り組みです。

塗装会社にとって、塗装は仕事であると同時に、地域を明るくし、建物を守り、人の心を動かす力を持っています。

きれいになる場所がある。喜んでくださる方がいる。地域に貢献できる。塗装の価値を次世代に伝えられる。

それが、ご奉仕塗装の大きな意味です。

塗装企業の方はもちろん、塗装を体験してみたい一般の方も、参加にご関心がありましたら、当協会までお問い合わせください。

6月30日｜宮古島ビーチクリーンに参加します

6月30日には、宮古島で行われるビーチクリーン活動に参加予定です。

この活動は、宮古島の海を守るために、長年にわたって海洋環境保全やビーチクリーンの発信を続けている団体様の取り組みです。

海岸に流れ着いたごみを拾うことは、単に海岸をきれいにするだけではありません。

そのままにしておけば、台風や強風、高潮などで再び海へ戻ってしまう可能性があります。

また、プラスチックごみや漂着物は、海の生き物が誤って食べてしまったり、生息環境を悪化させたりする原因にもなります。

そして何より、ビーチクリーンの発信を見た人が、

「海にごみを出してはいけない」「自分たちの行動が海につながっている」「海を守る活動に参加してみたい」

と感じることが大切です。

ビーチクリーンは、ごみを拾う活動であると同時に、人の意識を変える活動でもあります。

神社雑誌「和合」に掲載されます！参加者で掲載NGの方はお申し出ください。

宮古島ビーチクリーンは参加者募集中です

6月30日の宮古島ビーチクリーンは、現在も参加者を募集されているようです。

当日、宮古島に訪れる予定のある方。予定はなかったけれど、この機会に宮古島へ行ってビーチクリーンに参加してみたい方。海を守る活動に関心のある方。親子で環境活動に参加してみたい方。

ぜひ、参加をご検討ください。

活動に参加する人が増えれば増えるほど、海を守る力も、発信の力も大きくなります。

現場に行き、見て、学び、伝える

私たちは、支援金を出すだけではなく、現場に行き、見て、学び、伝えることも大切にしています。

森づくりの現場。ご奉仕塗装の現場。ビーチクリーンの現場。

そこには、机の上だけではわからない学びがあります。

どんな人が活動しているのか。どんな想いで続けているのか。どんな課題があるのか。私たちに何ができるのか。

その一つひとつを学びながら、協会としてできる支援の形を育てていきたいと考えています。

6月の倫理活動：森林再生、ボランティア塗装活動、宮古島ビーチクリーンアップを通じて、森、コミュニティ、海をつなぐJEPAの取り組み。

Forest Regeneration, Volunteer Painting, and Miyako Island Beach Cleanup

The Japan Ethical Painting Association is expanding its activities beyond painting and coatings.

We believe that the painting industry can contribute not only to buildings, but also to local communities, forests, oceans, and future generations.

In June, we will take part in three meaningful activities as part of our ethical and environmental initiatives.

First, we will join a forest regeneration and tree-planting activity in Iwate Prefecture on June 14.This event is organized by the Second Hometown Creation Association.

When we think about ocean regeneration, we cannot look only at the ocean.

Rain falls on forests, enters the soil, becomes groundwater, flows into rivers, and eventually reaches the sea.Healthy forests can help stabilize water flow, reduce soil runoff, and support the quality of water that reaches rivers and coastal ecosystems.

Growing forests, protecting rivers, and restoring the ocean are not separate actions.They are all connected.

Through this activity, we hope to learn directly from the field and deepen our understanding of how forests, rivers, and oceans are linked.

Please note that registration for this forest event has already closed.

On June 29, we are also planning to hold a volunteer painting activity.

Volunteer painting is one way for painting companies and people connected to the industry to contribute to local communities.

Painting has the power to protect buildings, brighten places, and bring joy to people.It can also become an opportunity to share the value of craftsmanship and community contribution.

Painting companies, as well as individuals who are interested in experiencing painting, are welcome to contact the Japan Ethical Painting Association for more information.

On June 30, we will participate in a beach cleanup activity in Miyako Island, Okinawa.

This activity is connected to local efforts to protect the beautiful ocean of Miyako Island.Beach cleanup may not directly reduce CO₂ in a large way, but it has great meaning.

Trash left on the beach can be carried back into the ocean by strong winds, storms, tides, or typhoons.Plastic waste and drifted debris can also harm marine life and damage coastal ecosystems.

Beach cleanup is not only about picking up trash.It is also about changing awareness.

When people see these activities, they may begin to think:

“We should not throw trash into the ocean.”“Our daily actions are connected to the sea.”“I want to take part in protecting the ocean.”

That change in awareness is very important.

The Miyako Island beach cleanup on June 30 is still open for participation.

Anyone planning to visit Miyako Island, or anyone who would like to travel there and join the activity, is welcome to consider participating.

The more people who participate, the greater the impact and the stronger the message we can share.

Going to the Field, Learning, and Sharing

We believe that support is not only about providing funds.

It is also important to go to the field, see what is happening, learn from the people involved, and share the value of their activities with others.

Forest regeneration, volunteer painting, and beach cleanup may look like different activities.However, they are all connected by one idea:

To protect the future through ethical action.

The Japan Ethical Painting Association will continue to support activities connected to forests, oceans, communities, education, and environmental regeneration.

We do not want painting to end only with painting.We do not want business to end only with sales.We do not want profit to end only as profit.

Through our work, we want to create value and use part of that value to support the environment and future generations.

Step by step, we will continue practicing a new form of social contribution born from Japan’s painting industry.
